Navigating a career in STEM can be overwhelming — especially for young women facing systemic and cultural challenges. Recognizing this, SheforSTEM launched the Career Compass Summit 2025 on August 17, 2025, at IIT Hyderabad. The summit was a full-day event aimed at helping women identify, prepare for, and grow into careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

The summit took a holistic approach to career development. It wasn’t just about job roles; it was about clarity, mentorship, and building long-term direction.

More than 800 participants benefited from the event, with many continuing mentorship relationships that began during the summit. Several companies also recruited directly from the attendee pool.
