SHEFORSTEM is dedicated to celebrating the achievements of women in STEM

Our story began in 2024 when Dr. Ankita observed not many women taking up higher positions in medical sciences, pharmacy, research & development, space research, sports, and in many high-paying jobs around her and all over the world.

Dr. Ankita found women from the developing world across Asia and Africa are missing in most of the emerging fields like astrophysics, quantum computers, aerospace, genetic engineering, and several other fields where technology advancements are taking place at lightning speed.

Women's absence in STEM education, research, and development deprives women of securing funds and research grants for higher studies. It is also preventing women from taking jobs and leadership roles in emerging areas in STEM globally.

SHEFORSTEM unlocks more opportunities for women in STEM and identifies factors preventing women from pursuing higher education, crafting a career in the emerging areas in science and technology that could help women take leadership positions. The absence of women in global forums like the UN General Assembly and other influential international spheres deprives women’s chances in squeezing scholarships, research grants, and project funding in STEM.

SHEFORSTEM aims to mitigate barriers by opening the dais for women through exclusive worldwide STEM conferences, where she could lead other young women in STEM, acting as a torchbearer. SHEFORSTEM guides, mentors, and encourages women exploring advancements in STEM academia, industry, research, and leadership.

SHEFORSTEM explores all avenues where women entrepreneurs and leaders across the industry sectors in manufacturing and services, like education, healthcare, supply chain management, and information technology, shed light on how women can grab more opportunities in STEM and grab opportunities at par with others.

SHEFORSTEM strives to foster an inclusive, diverse, and sustainable presence of women in STEM fields, enabling them to enhance their professional and persona images in the family, community, national, and international levels.

SHEFORSTEM aims to conduct worldwide conferences in science, technology, engineering, math, and medicine where more women occupy the center of the stage as conference organizers, presenters, tradeshow organizers, and exhibitors. Encourage networking, leadership development, and collaboration through membership forums, entrepreneurial clubs, and skills training programs.

SHEFORSTEM conferences invite funding agencies, trainers, councillors, women in technical and non-technical fields to guide more women to pursue great opportunities as diplomats, attorneys, pilots, space researchers, and other unconventional roles as Astronauts, Aerospace researchers, arms and ammunition designers and developers, healthcare innovators, and drug developers by holding panel discussions, poster shows, and live interaction with women in academia and the industry globally.
