When Priya, a final-year physics student from Hyderabad, attended the SheforSTEM Career Compass Summit 2025, she was at a crossroads.

At the summit, she attended a workshop on “Building a STEM Career Without Coding” and was stunned by the possibilities. She joined a resume clinic, networked with professionals, and in a speed mentoring session, she met Ms. Aarthi Reddy, a STEM coach who helped her outline a clear career path in research communication.
“That 10-minute conversation changed everything. Aarthi ma’am still checks on me and reviews my job applications. I never thought I’d find a mentor at a one-day event.”
Priya now works as a Junior Science Editor for a digital journal and mentors others at her college. She’s already signed up to volunteer for the next SheforSTEM event.
